Scott Hermann was raised in Napa Valley, California admist wine, vines and endless gorgeous days of sunshine. His lust for adventure has taken him to some pretty sweet spots in the world from the backcountry of California to the Southern Hemsiphere.
Blurring the lines between work and play, Scott's lived both on and off the grid. In the name of work, he's hiked all over the John Muir, Ansel Adams and Golden Trout Wilderness Areas as a Trail Crew Supervisor and Wilderness Ranger for the US Forest Service.
As a volunteer, Scott was a Winter Snow Ranger measuring snow pack

on Mammoth Mountain and reporting back to the National Weather Service. He was also a Volunteer Interpretive Ranger leading ski tours to the boundaries of the Ansel Adams Wilderness Area.
Scott's thrill seeking nature catapulted him into tree-tops as an arborist where climbing 200 foot trees were all in a days work.
He still finds plenty of time to play in the great outdoors from local finds to backcountry getaways and camping. He resides in Calistoga with his wife Julie and dog Brandy.
